Scott, Grandma, Rory and I also got to go see Daddy's band play at Rockin' Mike's house. We did a seafood dinner and got to hear some good music too. Here's Daddy jammin' out with the band.
On Monday, Rory's Grandpa drove in from North Carolina to visit us and meet his first grandbaby. They made faces at each other...

After her nap, we decided to get a father-daughter-grandaughter family picture...
Her Grandpa will be leaving tomorrow morning for a short but sweet trip. He'll be stopping to see Rory's Great Grandma Jo in Tennessee on his way back to North Carolina. I think he's a pretty proud Grandpa and we're really glad he was able to come out and visit us. The next trip it's our turn to head out east and visit before Rory gets too big.
The weather is definitely getting nicer out so we'll get some more outdoor/spring pictures up soon. This weekend we're heading to Rory's second Roller Derby bout up in Springdale. I'll have to get some pictures with her and her favorite Northwest Arkansas Roller Girls.
Next weekend we're heading out to Lost Valley to do some hiking and plant identification with one of Chad's former teachers and some friends, Garrett and Danielle. Plus we just got a new Ergo baby carrier to try out. We've heard great things about them and wanted to have a good chance to use it and see what we think before we head to Wakarusa in June. It's easier to put on and take off than the Moby Wrap, more comfortable than a sling (since it's on both shoulders), and I think will make Chad more likely to put Rory in a carrier and "wear" her around. We'll let you know what we think of it after our hike next weekend.
