go bucks...

This weekend was the Ohio State vs Michigan game and Rory learned something new just for the occasion. We were pretty impressed...not only that she did it, but that we were able to get it on video.

Then, we were feeding her this evening and she gave us her first sign language sign (in context) when she was eating her beet, butternut squash and chickpea medley. Mommy and Rory really like beets, but Daddy...not so much.

We're really looking forward to Thanksgiving. Even though Rory's first Thanksgiving was last year, this year everything feels like a first since she's so much more aware than she was last year. From Halloween, to Thanksgiving, and I'm sure Christmas will be a blast. She'll make sure she "recycles" every little bit of paper that we might miss...via her digestive tract.

And as promised (although a bit tardy), here are pictures of her and her buddy Rylan at Halloween. Rory was dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz (complete with ruby slippers), and Rylan was a bear. We even went out and used them to get some candy from Rylan's neighbors.

Chad is the scary guy that Rylan's keeping an eye on. We decided to scare some kids in our friends' neighborhood since we hardly get any kids coming to trick or treat at our house.

And Rylan made sure that we didn't forget to take Dorothy's basket when we went trick or treating...although Toto got the boot.

We hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for this year and hope you all do too!
