pictures from afar...

So here are a few more pictures from our holiday visit to Ohio. Surprisingly, there was snow waiting for us when we got there. Rory got to visit with a bunch of her family...aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, great-grandma...too many to count really. It was great seeing everyone even though our visit was short. We had to get back into town so Chad could be back in time for work.

Rory playing in the snow in Ohio...not too long after this, her hands got too cold (because she wouldn't leave her gloves on) and we had to go back inside.

We've finally gotten some snow (maybe four inches...tops) and I'll put up some photos of our "it's wonderful" snowman (according to Rory). I finally made her some proper mittens and her hands stayed warm the whole time we were out there today.  I don't envy those of you up north...it's great when we get a few inches of snow and everything shuts down for the day. A good time to huddle up under a blanket and watch some movies. Hope you all have had a few good days for staying inside and relaxing...and have kept safe and warm.
